Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place

Según la mitología griega, en la antigüedad, Europa y África estabán unidas por dos montes, Calpe (Peñon de Gibraltar) y Abyla (Monte Hacho, situado en Ceuta) pero un buen día, Hércules, despechado por la infidelidad de su amada tomó en un extremo a Calpe y en el otro a Abyla y los separó formando lo que hoy conocemos como estrecho de Gibraltar. A su amada la castigó convirtiéndola en piedra y haciéndola dormir un sueño eterno, dando lugar al Yebel Musa.

According to Greek mythology, in ancients times, Europe an Africa were united by two mountains, Calpe (The Rock of Gibraltar) and Abyla (Mount Hacho, situated in Ceuta), but one day, Hercules, disgusted for his beloved’s infidelity, took by one extreme Calpe and by the other one Abyla and separed them, forming what is currently known as The Strait of Gibraltar. He punished his beloved converting her into stone and making her to sleep and eternal dream, giving way to “Yebel Musa” (Yebel is Mount in Arabic)…
